Phase 1: No Contact
Block them. Delete the number. Unfollow. You cannot heal a wound while you are still picking at it. Give yourself 30 days minimum.
Phase 2: Feel the Feelings
Cry. Scream. Write angry letters (don't send them). Bottling it up prolongs the pain. It's okay to not be okay.
Phase 3: Reconnect with You
What did you stop doing during the relationship? Painting? Running? Seeing certain friends? Do those things now.
Phase 4: Acceptance
You will realize that while it hurts, you will survive. The relationship taught you what you want and don't want.
