Consent must always be:

• Freely Given: No pressure, coercion, or intoxication.
• Reversible: You can change your mind at any time.
• Informed: Knowing the full picture (STI status, birth control, what acts are involved).
• Enthusiastic: It should be a "Hell Yes!"
• Specific: Saying yes to one thing isn't saying yes to everything.

Tea Analogy

If you ask someone if they want tea, and they say "maybe," don't force them to drink it. If they say yes, then fall asleep, don't pour it down their throat. It's simple.
